Your car needs fuel, but so do you! Fortunately, September 29th is National Coffee Day. Here are some of the best places in Columbus, Ohio for drive-thru deals to help you get your energy fix and get the most from your morning commute.
• Dunkin Donuts
Purchase a hot coffee in a medium size or larger and you can get another medium-sized hot coffee for free. This deal is perfect for those carpooling with fellow coffee lovers. Plus, their seasonal pumpkin donuts are available now (not that we’re obsessed with those or anything…okay, we have a problem, you caught us).
• Krispy Kreme
With no purchase necessary, you can get a free hot coffee of any size or a free small iced coffee.
All you have to do to get this deal is drive up or walk in. The best part is, this offer is valid today through Sunday, so you can celebrate National Coffee Day all weekend long (one per day).
• Tim Hortons
For this one, you’ll need to download the Tim Hortons app. Once you do, stop by the location of your choice and pick up your free hot or iced coffee in any size you’d like. This includes their original blend, dark roast, or decaf. You have until October 8th to pick yours up. Ohioans are lucky, too, since we’re one of only ten states that get to enjoy Tim Hortons!
If brewing your own at home is more your cup of tea (or cup of coffee), Keurig’s website is offering 20% off on all K-Cup pods. This deal starts today, but runs through October 1st. Simply enter the promo code “CELEBRATE” when you checkout online.
Not necessarily looking for a deal and just want a great cup of joe? Columbus has some of the best local coffee around. Crimson Cup is a finalist this year in the Good Food Awards competition for Best Coffee. This makes them the first ever finalist from Ohio in this category! They also won Roast Magazine’s Macro Roaster of the Year award in 2016. Drive over to their locations in Clintonville and Upper Arlington and you’ll see why! Stauf’s is another local favorite and was ranked in the Top 10 Coffee Shops in Columbus in 2016 by Columbus Underground.
